Initial Meeting Whether by referral or some other introduction
we always begin by meeting with you to discuss who we are, what we do, and how
we are compensated. You should be comfortable to ask us anything to help you better
appreciate how we might serve you. We will ask you what you are looking for in
a professional financial relationship, as well as what your goals and aspirations
are. If we mutually decide to go to the next step, we will gather pertinent data
required to begin our relationship. Information Gathering
It is both unethical and improper for anyone to offer financial advice without
first reviewing certain critical information. Therefore, we will gather from you
your personal and financial information such as assets, goals, time horizon, and
risk tolerance, as well as identifying any other key advisors e.g. attorney, accountant.
Importantly, we adhere to strict guidelines in maintaining client confidentiality.
Analysis From the information previously gathered we will review
your current financial situation to determine if your current plan is compatible
to your goals. Strategy Development During this phase of the
planning process, we will develop an overall strategy to enhance the probability
of achieving client goals. A specific action plan, including any timelines, is
established for review. Education We specialize in investment
management, however, we realize that for many of our clients discussing financial
products and capital markets can be overwhelming. We are committed to educating
our clients so that they understand at least fundamentally how they are invested
and why! We will always spend as much time educating our clients as they ask for,
and we will do it in a common language. Implementation/Monitoring
Upon agreement to the strategy we will implement your specific plan. We will monitor
the plan and meet with our clients as frequently as required, but we suggest to
our clients that we meet at least annually to review performance and any changes
in goals, risk tolerance or time horizon. When the plan calls for changes we will
review and explain the why, how, and what effect that the changes may have on
your overall goal. Our clients know that we will always make ourselves available
to them to address any issues that may arise. |
